In your first appointment Ben will take you through an assessment to establish your current level of strength and mobility. Working alongside your Treatment Rooms practitioner and your existing notes, or by taking a new health history, he aims to establish your goals and assess your movement patterns through specific exercises.

From your assessment Ben will be able to develop a coaching programme specific to your needs, and help you reach those goals, whether that’s getting back into your sport, improving your game, recovering from injury or wanting to learn more about achieving your best physical health.

Although the idea of strength training can be intimidating for many and knowing where to start can be a real minefield, Ben will help and guide you through strength based movement patterns that gives you the confidence to move safely.

Research is showing the benefits of incorporating strength training into your exercise routine and this is especially true as we age, as it helps to maintain muscle, bone and cardiovascular health; all of which allow us to get up and do the things we enjoy each day. That is what I am focussed on helping people to achieve.

Having worked with people as young as 14 up to mid 80s my key belief is that strength training is for everyone and everyone should be doing it, throughout life, not just in your youth.

My sessions with Ben have supported my recovery from 2 prolapsed discs and sciatica. He is helping to address weaknesses in different areas as well as ensuring I am building strength and improving my mobility.
